SketchUp 1

These are the 18 sections I did with the words I chose from
Sidney Nolan (night - pray - holy) and Ricky Swallow (walker - rest - dead):

This is what I made of the section I chose.

This section I based my model on.

The two words were: WALKER (Swallow) and NIGHT (Nolan)

The material I would chose is concrete, because it is a good material for modelling difficult shapes and forms of a building. It is also a quite neutral material, which does not create certain effects. Its simple, but easy to handle and good for using it under the ground.

Andrea Stenzel

1. piece of work from my studies at the university of applied siences in mainz, germany

2. image of a building that inspired me

Angkor wat in cambodia is a temple, a piece of very old architecture, which is connected to nature in a very special und mystical way.

3. something beautiful

For me the human body, in this case a woman's body, and the way it moves dancing is very beautiful.

Sidney Nolan, "Salome": night, praying, holy

Ricky Swallow: walker, resting, dead

Patricia Piccinini, "The Young Family", 2003: motherhood, feeding, safe
